Maybelline's Falsies Mascara

I recently bought Maybelline's Falsies mascara. According to advirtisers this mascara is suppose to volumize your eyelashes and or give it the "fake eyelashes" look, give a very black shade to the eyelashes, not clump your eyelashes together and give your eyelashes a very flirtacious demeanor. These claims give consumers very high expectations of this product especially considering the 8$ spent to buy this product.

While trying this product I found that this mascara was not all it was cut out to be. It has a very thick factor to it's mascara which can, and will result in clumping. Another negative is that this mascara is not the blackest black. It dries to a powerdy black almost a grey color. Also, if applied to much the eyelashes stick together.

Though there were many faults about this product there are also a few postive effects. First, if used correctly the rounded brush gives eyelashes great length and body. It also doesn't run or come off as easily as other mascaras.

Overall, I'd give this mascara 3 stars ★★★( 1 star being the worst, 5 being the best.) It does a great job of defining eyelashes although personally, I'd stick to the one-stroke method to get the best results.
